I just want to give a quick tip. I have learnes that it is IMPERATIVE that you get the correct size crate or kennel for your puppy. We purchased a medium sized crate for Bear and he would use the bathroom inside of it half the time and go outside half the time. I felt like a failure. I am not sure why but when I take him outside to use the bathroom he eats grass and leaves and doesn't go poop. Sometimes he poops 3 times a day and today he only pooped twice earlier (once inside). We brought 8 week old Bear home yesterday, finally! He had a poop accident inside but I stopped him and took him outside. Nothing. He still has not peed, ayeast not that I know of! But he did finally poop outside this morning yay! He sleeps a lot but plays a ton too. I am worn out with very little sleep. But it's all worth it. I think he is understanding the concept of the crate, I am doing it slo...

I've had dogs before but never a puppy and we have never trained a puppy at this age. What are your suggestions? I bought the "wee wee" pads but I dont even know the first thing about training when we brin...

Toby has always slept in our bedroom in his bed near me. He has a bed in our homeoffice and in the loungeroom.
Lately he has been going to bed as usual but in the early hours of the morning he crys to go out I get up and open the bedroom door and he walks slowly up the hallway to our front door then backs back and goes straight...
