Crazy after a bath
« on: August 19, 2013, 12:07:39 PM »
When I give Murphy a bath, he runs around like a mad crazy dog after, rubbing himself against the carpet and jumping around like a maniac. Is this normal?

LOL!!!! Yes Toby does this all the time after a bath. I bath him then blow dry him make him look fluffy and as soon as I put him down he runs around and then rubs himself along the carpet and puts knots in his hair. Don't you love them!!! ;D

My puppy does this as well. He rubs himself all over the carpet. Are they trying to get the scent off when they do that?

My Sperry does the rubbing too.  I think the combination of blowdrying and shampoos make him itchy.  I always ask them to put cotton in his ears as I've noticed that when they miss this step he can't stop itching his head/face and is prone to ear infections.

As far as getting crazy when pooping. Sperry does this as well.  I attribute it to the rectal stimulation.  He also goes absolutely crazy every time he gets on top of a human bed.  Not sure what thats about!
