OMG, why isn't this baby in commercials!  She is absolutely adorable.  She looks like Cindy Lou Who from The Grinch with those eyelashes.

She is adorable. I love her cute little hair cut. I have been putting off taking my girl to the groomer because it is still quite cool here and she gets cold very easily. She has a silky Yorkie type coat with no undercoat so she is always looking for someone to snuggle up with or climbing under a blanket to take a nap.

  You are funny Mai Tai, I did not know who this Cindy Lou Who was, so I had to google her up. Funny. Yes she is my baby, spoiled rotten, and i am very proud of her. She is a big show off herself, she crawls right under your skin, no way of ignoring her...

Thanks, i do my own grooming with her. I only took her once to groomer, it was not bad but she had different head when she came out & did not look quite like herself. She is good with grooming, so I take my sweet precious time doing it. Result is in the pics. I like her body and legs short and face rounded, a bit oval. Her tail is left long and I trim it from bottom up to layer it, so when it's up, it looks like a little palm tree, LOL

I wish I could trim my girl. She hates scissors. As soon as she sees them she jumps up and away. Even before the first time I touched her with them she hated them. I have had to trim her face and feet over the winter but I have had to have someone help me hold her because she fights it so much. She is fine for the groomer.

Did you try using clipper instead of scissors. Use same finger technique by holding hair between your fingers as with scissors, but use clipper to cut it away.

No, I haven't tried clippers. I'm afraid I would mess her up royally with them. It seems that if she hates scissors that are silent that the sound of clippers would send her flying.

You do a great job grooming her!  Her eyelashes are beautiful!  My Raley has real long eyelashes but you can't see them as much as hers because of the color of his hair!  LOL!!
