This is one dog that really melts the hearts of man. My husband Jeff is always taking photo's of Toby. He is the worst for spoiling him too.

That is funny because my husband was not so keen on getting a dog at first, but now he just loves Mai Tai.  He starts petting him and calling him a baby as soon as he gets home from work and does not even mind taking him out for his 11 pm walk.  I am glad since it is freezing here and I hate to go out at night in the cold.  Mai Tai is not thrilled with it either but I don't need him messing in his crate.  My husband is so happy we have him now and could not imagine not having him.

I totally understand that.  Brian (my boyfriend) told me that she was nothing but a rat with hair...that was until he met her and now he loves her as much as anybody.  He bathes her and feeds her and like you I hate going out in the cold also, so Brian takes her out in the evenings for her potty breaks. I knew he'd fall for her as soon as he met her, just like I did.
