Wow what a cute. Don't you just want to hug and kiss them. They are such joy in our lives.

Scruffy is adorable.  I love his coloring too.  Mine is that color underneath black and a darker brown.  I have no idea what color he will be when full grown.  How old is Scruffy?  Best of luck with him.

Thanks for all the comments and complements. Scruffy was 1 in that picture. He turned one last July 08. He is 10.7 lbs and Im pretty sure he is full grown. I just love having him he is my midlife baby, because my kids are teenagers. I've always had big dogs, but now I love having my little ball of energy.

He probably is full grown now.  Small breeds are full grown by about 10 months according to some websites I have read, while bigger breeds can grow after a year.  My Mai Tai is about 6 lbs now at 15 weeks and I think he will grow to be about 12, as his dad was 15 lbs, and his mom was about 6.  He takes after his dad a little more in terms of body size.  His Dad was the Shih-tzu.  I know it is usually the other way around where the Mom is the Shih-tzu, but mine was an accidental breeding.  Scruffy looks a little more Yorkie to me.  Am I right?  Mai Tai is more squat looking with a wide body.  Good luck and post more pics when you have time.
