Toby Got Stung by a Bee. OUCH!!!!

Poor Toby got stung by a bee. He came running into the house with his tail tuck under his legs I new there was something wrong but I wasn't quiet sure what. Then I saw a bee on the floor without it's sting. I wasn't sure what to do but I went on the net and found a remidy. First pull the sting out and then to put a paste of Bi-carb and water on the area and a cold compress. Well that was yesterday and he does seem to be ok the only thing is where he was stung is infected so I'm not sure what to do as far as that is concerned.

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them.

I would use antibiotic ointment after a warm compress.  Keep re-applying it.  I had to do this with Mai Tai after he got a small infection from a tick bite.  Of course, if the red area gets bigger or a red line appears heading in the direction of the heart, off to the vet.  Good luck.
