I also got the steps for shadow.she uses them to get on the bed,but will not use them to get down,she has no problem with jumping off.

good idea getting the steps....Bailey is 9 lbs and she's fine jumping on and off the couch....she just started getting on and off the bed too

My husband made a ramp for Zoe to get on the bed, and she will go up with no problem, but does not like to use it to go down.  I had to put a pillow on the floor at the foot of the bed, because her preferred method of getting down is to jump off of the end of the bed.  My husband was an army paratrooper, and I think even he is impressed with Zoe's fearlessness jumping off of furniture.

Mo is afraid to jump off the couch, but has done so when very excited.  He just started using the little steps to go down though, so hopefully, this will keep him from getting hurt.  He still won't go down the stairs to get downstairs though, but I am not encouraging him to do so as I like keeping him contained to one floor of the house right now for his own safety.  I think a ramp is a cool idea too.  Unfortunately, my husband is not handy.  SHHSHHH Don't tell him I said that.
