Hi from a new member & new Shorkie owner!

We have three pets now (since we lost Junior, our male cat).  Salem is a 7 year old, declawed formerly stray black cat, Sandy is the yellow lab, and Zoe bear is the newbie.  The  other animals really have tolerated Zoe, who is just a bundle of energy and puppy teeth.  I'm especially surprised how much the cat interacts with her.  He could sit up on the furniture and not engage at all, but he is down running with her all of the time.  Maybe he misses our other cat.  Sandy has always been an incredibly well-tempered dog, but I can't believe she lets Zoe sit on her back (see the pic).  I think it's good how they all socialize with each other, plus it's a hoot to watch!

I love that picture! She looks like she's going to fall because how would you be able to balance on a lab? Glad they get along so well!

That picture is so cute.  I have some like it of Mai Tai and Mojito but you cannot tell one dog is on the other because they are both about the same color and very hairy.  It looks like, either Mai Tai has a tumor, or Mojito has a huge body and a tiny head.

I'm not surprised your pics of two black or dark animals is tough!  Our cat Salem is black, and Zoe is black/brown, so the two of them playing just looks like a ball of fur! 

OK, you've all been so nice about looking at pics, here is another one of Zoe playing with Sandy.  Zoe wanted Sandy's goose so badly, she jumped and flipped completely over backwards.  Zoe is completely fearless about jumping!  Ah, to be so young and limber, and to jump back up and keep playing!

I think that the little shorkie should do agility! She probably made a perfect back flip!  Love the pic!

I love the pics of you lab and Zoe. they really look happy together. Isn't it funny that small animals seem to rule the bigger ones. I had a cat that was very small and a collie dog and my cat used to rule the house hold. One day a Rockwiler came into our yard my collie bark at it but the cat chased it out of the yard. I was sooo shocked as if the rockwiler could of killed my cat. LOL
