Constipation

Hello,

Has anyone had trouble with there Shorkie not being able to poop, he will go outside and try to go all the time but he just can not do it, then he always slides his rear end on the ground, I would take any kind of advice.  It just started last night and has been going on all day.

Try giving Max some sardines and make sure you give it to him with the oil. Try giving this to him once every week. The fish oil is good for them you can give him tuna as well.
Make sure your diet for him is ok. Check with your vet it could be something that your feeding him or not giving him but if you give him fish oil regularly it will help. When I say sardine or tuna I do mean human food.

I agree with Ann, and I would also talk to your vet.

Check his anal glans as well to make sure they aren't swollen and infected.  Possible pain?  And what food are you giving him?  Anything different that you gave him to eat?

I will call the vet first thing tomorrow morning, he has not tried to go since 3:00 or has he rub his rear on the ground so hopefully he will be able to go soon, I have not switched food, but I wil go buy some tuna tomorrow and try that.  I am still working on getting a picture of Max on here.
