Mai Tai is almost 14 months old and is 13 lbs.  Mojito is 18 weeks old and 2 and a half pounds, the vet thinks he may reach 4, so there is a wide range of sizes.

Hi All, Little Mojito got a rabies shot today, and he weighs 3 lbs, 11 oz!!  I am so pleased that he is gaining.  Ever since we treated him for giardia, he has been so much better.  He is starting to look like a real dog as opposed to some exotic guinea pig.  Thanks to all of you for your support while I worried about every little ounce of him.

Yeah for Mojito!! Though the guinea pig comment made me laugh cuz when hubby first saw pics of Cody that's what he would call him lol!

Cody is 9 months and is 12lbs. At 13weeks(when we got him) he was about 5lbs.

4 lbs? 7lbs? I wish Monty would stay that small. Maybe your pups had tea cup parents. Monty's last visit to the vet was about a month ago and he was 7.1 lbs. He's gotten MUCH Bigger since then. He is now about. 4.5 months and the vet says he'll probably max out at about 12-15 lbs. When he's running around my apt. I always say how big he is, but when I take him out to play with other dogs, I'm reminded of how tiny my little smoosh is. :)

I'm so glad that Mojito is getting bigger... You may have a good 6 pounder on your hands when all is said and done.
Cash is 10 months and about 10 lbs.. maybe bigger.. haven't weighed him in awhile.

Ozzy's visit to the vet today for final first shots and he weighed 11lbs 6oz and he'll only be 5 month on 11/20, even though he weighs this hes very short and still looks like a puppy (which he is) but I keep telling everyone he's solid not fat (vet said the shiztu tend to bigger which I think he took this part more then yorkie.)

Thanks Cash, I hope so.  I thought he could no longer fit through the bars in the gate in the kitchen, so I took the cardboard off.  I went for a walk with Mai Tai only to find Mojito having the run of the house when I got home, so I guess he can still squeeze through.  Now I have to find more cardboard....or should I just let him have the run of the house?  Nah, he is not dependable with the housebreaking at all.

Cash may get to be about 13 or so.  Mai Tai was about 11 pounds at 10 mos if my memory is correct, and now he is 14 and a half.  He too is solid, not fat, though all his fur makes him look even bigger.  He is so much more shih tzu that people often mistake him for one.

Monty is almost 5 lbs and is not solid AT ALL. He's actually incredibly LONG. I wondered if his mother had an affair with one of those hot dog dogs. HAHA. I see Mai Tai kept growing even after 10 months. My vet said he would MOSTLY stop growing after 8 months and may grow only a little after that.

Christine, Mai Tai even grew after one year.  At one year he was 13 lbs.  I don't think he grew any taller or longer, I think he just filled out some.

Bailey, I can't believe how old Bailey is already.  Wow, time is going by quickly.  Mojito will be six months old on Wednesday, but still looks like a tiny little baby.

Karen..Mojito sounds like he is the same size Bailey was when we got her...which would have been ok with me if she stayed that small....you've done such a great job getting him to eat...I remember your posts when he first arrived at your house....how tiny he was and didn't eat..
