Here we go again!

Teddy is chewing our brand new green rug! Does anybody have any suggestions or comments or experiences? He did this with with our old rug but stopped eventually. We got a new one cuz the old one smelled like pee!  I am trying to keep him occupied but I guess that is not working. Again, I am completly ready to tackle anything that you may throw at me! LOL! Thanks, everyone!

I read about things people used to keep their dogs from chewing on their crates. It is a spray that isn't harmful but doesn't taste good to them (kind of like a bitter apple). Not that you would soak your entire rug in it, but if he's chewing on the sides or if it has fringes, maybe that's worth a shot.

Outside of rolling up your rug for awhile, I too can only think of suggesting the bitter apple spray too???  Good luck, hope you get more feedback.

I used bitter apple on my cabinets and it stopped Mai Tai from chewing on them.  You have to spray it often though, as it wears off.

Ok, thanks guys. Now where do I get this so called bitter apple spray from? Pet aisle? LOL! But where do I get it from?

LOL Teddy about Pet Aisle.  I got the spray at PetSmart.  It is a small bottle with a pump spray like hairspray.  There are different varieties, I just bought the cheapest one.
