Thanks Cody.  I may do that.  The only one who appreciates my cooking around here is the dog anyway.  I am not exactly the best cook ever.  Not one of my favorite things to do.

Ok, I know this might not be the best place to post this but this is an exciting topic so I thought why not? Ok, Teddy through up again and it was on my BRAND NEW RUG that I paid $300.00 for! I'm getting sick of this.

I know how you feel.  My cats puke at least 3 times a week and it is driving me crazy.

Mai Tai, home cooking is the best for your dog if you can do it.  Boiled chicken, my dog would love me to death.  shhhhhh, I don't want her to hear she is deprived, she might want to head your way, lol.  There are a lot of people who do dog cooking for their little ones.  I think I can get some recipes for you, do you want me too?
At least your not feeding your dog fillers when you home cook.  Well what I mean is your able to leave all the garbage out of it, not like in dog food.  I'm going to see if there is a routine I can get into to start cooking more.  My kids are all grown and gone and I live alone.  So rarely do I cook big meals for just one person.
Hats off to ya girl.

Teddy, how long as he been throwing up?  Is it a certain  time of the day or just any time?  Hope he feels better

Well, it's actually always random days and random times. Sometimes he will be Ok for a few days and then he vomits again. Sometimes he does it every day.

Thanks Shorkie, feel free to send any recipes you like.  I have been looking some up on the rinternet.  Send you dog over anytime and I will prepare a homecooked meal.  Notice I did not say it would be good, just that it would be homecooked.

Um, well, this time it was like an orange brown color, and that's what it usually is. Except once, a few weeks weeks ago, it was white and black. The reason for that is because he got hold of a blac fur dog stuffed animal!

Teddy, please bring the dog to the vet.  Orange/brown vomit is not normal.  He could have a infection.  Brown can also be old blood.  How long has he been doing this and how old is he again? I'm sorry I forgot.

Thanks for the info... There are so many brands it's a little overwhelming.  :)  Though I'm ashamed to say that Cash is on Beneful which is made by Purina.. after reading the ingredients it doesn't sound good at all!  Though my vet too said it was fine to feed him this.  I'll have to take a look at the store and see what's what.

Teddy I think we talked about this before too, and yellowish vomit is stomach bile.. which means his stomach is empty.  We went camping this weekend and Cash was not eating well at all while gone and he threw up both Friday and Saturday night.  Sunday I made sure I hand fed him if I needed to and he was fine Sunday night.  I think you said that Teddy wasn't a great eater. Cash doesn't eat alot either.  Maybe we need to look at switching foods to something they may like more if for no other reason than to not have them throwing up due to an empty stomach. Just a thought?
