Oh, OK. And I know that this idea might catch you by surprise, but in the winter, how about getting a little coat or sweater or something for little Mojito? I mean, that's the only other idea I can think of besides the dreaded pads! LOL! Teddy still uses them, but we are trying to get him to go outside more often, also becaues of our new green shaggy rug that looks like grass. But he didn't try to potty on it or chew it . . . . . . . yet, I guess. Oh, and Ann, great advice, I mean for Karen. I would never have taken my time to type so long, well maybe I would've for one of you nice shorkie lovers. I just figured out that we might be too booked to take Teddy Bear shopping this weekend too, and I feel so bad because he really deserves it. Well, good luck with Mojito and as I have been saying, you will soon progress forward within the weeks. Maybe not so much, if you face a new problem. Oh, and by the way, I was wondering if you have decided to get insurance for Mojito or if you already did in fact get insurance for that tiny little guy Mojito. Well, I guess that's all I have to say (for now, at least), so ttyl!

We have a little coat for Mai Tai for the winter, but hardly used it.  He has so much thick fur, he did not need it, but it is too big for Mojito so I guess it is off to PetSmart soon for some clothes for Mojito.

I'm not sure either if Bailey will need a coat/sweater or not...i'll have to ask the vet....she is 7 lbs but her hair is pin straight, soft and not too thick

I had asked the vet about Mai Tai and she said since he had the Shih-Tzu's double coat, he would only need a coat if I planned on keeping him out in the winter weather for 2 hours or more.  I think with Mojito's thin hair and small size, it will be a different story, probably for Bailey too.

yea Bailey's hair is like a yorkie......I'll have to find her something cute to wear......
If Bailey didn't get carsick I'd take her on a road tripfrom Long Island to meet Mai Tai & Mojito

I would love that Bailey.  That is a shame about getting car sick.  Mine love the car, Thank God, since I try to take them everywhere.

the vet said she may outgrow it....she doesn't mind the car...my daughter even bought her a carseat since she takes her to her boyfriends house to play with their dog....she's ok for +/- 30 min then evertime she gets sick....so for short trips she's fine.....but my parents are an hour away, and the vet i had to use while we went away..so she could be boarded was 40 min....i'm switching back to our local vet who is 10 min away

Mai Tai-You should get Mojito a coat! I'm sure that would help him! And yeah on gain the few oz! Sounds like you are doing a great job with him!!
