House breaking

Hey! How are your pups doing on the whole house breaking situation. Teddy hasn't had an accident since a month ago. So I think he could actually be pottytrained! How exciting!:D He is trained to stand by the door when he has to go potty outside and then he goes outside to go potty. When he goes potty, he comes in and gets a yummy special treat! Teddy is also trained to go on his peepee pads by the baby gate. He gets a treat for that too. Also, does anybody else use this technique?

I hope I don't jinx myself by responding here..but Bailey(she's 5 months) is trained to go by the door...when she has to go out....she hasn't had an accident in a long time..over 2 months i think...we didn't do the pads..just trained her to go to the door & she gets a treat when she goes....looks for it as soon as she's done...we do keep her in her crate when we go out

I honestly don't know how long it has been since Teddy had an accident, maybe a few months.
