Thanks guys, they were definitely sleepy yesterday and just generally bleh!!  Max this morning was feeling better, Maggie however still seems a bit under the weather. The vet gave us pain pills to give them and while we don't like to have to give it to them, they needed it last night as they started whimpering alot.  I attached a picture of them, a bit blurry but they are wearing their new baby onesies.  Maggie's says "Sweet Pea" and Max's says "Loud and born to Rock N Roll"  LOL

So cute. I'm glad to see they are up and around. I gave Gracie her "pain medication" the first day and then I looked it up online and found it was antiinflammatory kind of like ibuprophen. I figured she could do with out it as on the third day she was doing very well. I know anti inflammatories can be irritating to the stomach and she is not a good eater. They are safer on a full stomach but Gracie is a picker and she was not eating well after she came home either.
Your babies are darling in their little onesies.

Thanks guys!!  Does anyone know when it is safe for Maggie to be allowed to run around?  She had her surgery on Wed, and she is slowly feeling better and getting her energy back, hence it is hard to keep a tight reign on her.  I am nervous she is going to hurt herself or pull her internal stitches out.  ICK!!  I think I may just be paranoid, but I had 2 c-sections and the thought of running around just two days after makes me cringe.  I am even nervous to pick her up, so afraid I am going to hurt her belly.  LOL

Have to say that dogs bounce back a lot faster than we do! Just make sure she does not do any jumping up and down off of things for a couple of more days. They told me no baths for two weeks with Gracie. After day 4 Gracie was totally back to normal. She has her pet steps to get up and down with so that was not an issue for her. I wish we were able to recoup as well as dogs do!

Love the onesy's they look so cute.  I think dogs know what they can do or not do, I sort of left Ava alone, she bounced right back too.

By the third day Angel was pretty much like her old self. I know what you mean with a c-section I had one too. I sure didn't feel like jumping around either but I guess we had a baby with that also!

Oh I know, I wish we could bounce back as fast too!!  Well, an update here, they both seem back to normal.  They are back to wrestling with each other.  LOL  Still keeping an eye out on Maggie as she has one small spot on her incision that still hasn't completely closed over yet, but it is not infected or anything.  Just want to brag a bit, I am so proud of them, they are doing so great with their potty training.  They bark at us now when they have to go out and we tell them "you want to out" and they seem to understand because they start barking and getting all excited.  LOL
