Thanks so much for your reply.  The funny thing is he isn't showing any signs.  Since Friday, we have put him back on his dog food, which of course, he doesn't like as he is spoiled..........I would rather his be pissed than sicker.  I guess we just have to wait and stay positive, nothing else we can do.  We get so attached to these little buggers, they are our second set of children in later life.  Oh well, if the last resort is surgery, I really didn't need the trip to Mexico in Jan.  Priorities.  lol

The Vet phoned last night after talking to the pathologist in Ontario where the Bilastic Test is sent and he said Tiko is in a grey area.  His numbers were 32 and normal is 0-15, but he has seen other dogs with levels in the hundreds.  He is not showing any neurological signs and is doesn't seem indicative of Liver Shunt.  Pancreatitis is out of the question, but not Hepatitis.  So....the next 6 weeks we carry on with his DOG FOOD, no low protein, and we will do another Bilastic Test in 6 Weeks.  If it goes up, then we are off to Saskatoon for an Ultrasound.  Tiko thanks you so much for your comments

Oh no, I'm sorry so to hear about Tiko! Its so hard when you get so attached, they play such a big part in our lives though. I really hope his next tests come back with better results and ends up being nothing too serious, Charlie and I will be thinking of Tiko and wishing you all the best!

What kind of dog food is Tiko on? Wouldn't hepatitis be indicated on a blood test? Pancreatitis is something that can come and go. Hope something becomes clear soon. Good health to you Tiko!

It is not your fault. Don't feel guilty. Angel and I will be praying for Tiko and maybe Angel's little puppy prayer will make everything better.

Just got back froma short trip with no computer, so I am just reading about Tiko now.  I am sending up prayers too.  I really hope the enzymes come down, and it is nothing.  How the heck would he have contracted hepatitis?  From his mom?  I really hope all turns out well.  We just went through surgery with Mo and I know it is scary to have them sick.  Thinking of you.
