Shorkie + Shorkie = ?

Me and my partner at work were wondering something.  It's random so just bare with me.  If a female and male shorkie mated and had a litter, would the pups be shorkies or something else?  Just wondering if anybody knew.  Thanks in advance!!

According to some of the stuff I have read on the net, the people who say they started this breed (and they ALL claim that), say that the mom must be a Shih-tzu and the dad a Yorkie in order to make a Shorkie.  According to that definition, my dog is not a yorkie because his mom was the yorkie and his dad was the Shih tzu. I imagine they would say that two shorkies will not make a shorkie. I think it would make a shorkie but eventually you would lose the "hybrid vigor," if you even believe in that.  Also, it would be hard to tell what kind of dog you would get as I guess it could revert to more Yorkie or more Shih tzu than either parent is.  I wanted to breed my little Shorkie because he is so cute and sweet, but I am having him neutered on January 5th.  I think there are plenty of dogs out there waiting for homes, and from what I read, breeding puppies is no cake walk.  Nothing against those who choose to breed there shorkies, I don't blame you and I may even ask to buy one from you in the future...LOL.  Seriously, I really hesitate to have Mai Tai neutered as I would love more of him.  Hope my rambling has helped a little.  If you find any answers please let me know.

I believe that if you breed both shorkie's you still get a shorkie but offcourse you must remember that none of these are what they call pure breeds anyway. You may find that the strong breed may come through either shih tzu or yorkie. the most important thing is the nature of the dog will come through.

I had Toby neutered but in some ways I would have loved to breed from him. Then in others I'm glad I didn't as it is alot of work and does cost a lot.

Thanks for the answers...but just to be clear I do not plan on breeding my Laela. It was just a random question.  Thanks for all responses thought!!

What a shame, as Laela is a beauty.  If I could breed Mai Tai, (who is getting neutered on Monday, unfortunately), I would pick a bride just like Laela.  I wish I could breed them as I would love another, but I will just have to settle for adopting another in the future.  Happy New year to you and yours.  My hand feels a little better and I am starting to get the hang of typing with the fingers hanging out of the splint.

That's a good question as I think it does mke you wonder about what happens when you cross them. As you can see were not really sure either.
